OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)
Mrs. Margaret Baumbauer, 81, 160½ North Cass Street, died at 4:45 a.m. Monday at the Parrett Nursing Home. She had been ill several weeks and had been a patient in the nursing home since Jan. 7.
A life resident of Wabash, she was born her March 25, 1877 to Phillip and Anna (Fleck) Hipskind and was married to Albert F. Baumbauer who preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and the Rosary Society.
Surviving are two brothers, Al Hipskind, Wabash, and P. Bernard Hipskind, Marion; seven grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granchildren. Two sons, Homer and Edgar, seven brothers and two sisters, preceded her in death.
Funeral servcies will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Bernard Church with the Rev. Phillip Moore C.S.C., Notre Dame University, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Robert Zahn. Burial will be in Falls cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Wire Funeral home.
