She was born September 24, 1902, in Berryville, Arkansas, and passed away in Grady Memorial Hospital, Chickasha.
Mrs. Hestand moved to Oklahoma in 1909, living at Tuttle, Oklahoma, then moving to Chickasha over 35 years ago. She married Leslie Hestand December 14, 1922, in Chickasha.
One child, Kenneth Ray Hestand, preceded them in death.
She was a member of the Central Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Leslie; a son, Gene Hestand of Chickasha; a daughter, Mrs. Buddy (Louise) Dalton of Frederick, Oklahoma; two brothers, Jess Plumlee of Tuttle, and C. P. "Pete" Plumlee of Tuttle; a sister, Mrs. Chloe Basinger of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under direction
of Sevier Funeral Home.
