Mrs. Pinkie C. Efferson died July 10, 1958 at her home in Hammond at the age of 66. Lifelong resident of Livingston Parish. She was married to Thomas Efferson, Hammond; two sons, Iverson Efferson, Hammond and H. W. Efferson, Baton Rouge; three daughters, Mrs. C. M. Vignes, Mrs. Amy K. McLin, Mrs. Mary Alice Covington, all of Hammond; one sister, Mrs. Hatch Bendily, Baton Rouge; two brothers, Ivy Cockerham, Denham Springs and John R. Cockerham, Walker; 17 grandchildren. She will be buried in Courtney Cemetery in Holden on July 11, 1958.
