Charles Everett Bauman Sr., 94, four year resident of the Arcadia nursing Center of Coolville, formerly of 4396 Packard St., Parkersburg, died Thursday evening (6/7/1990) at St. Joseph's Hospital following an extended illness.

He was born in Wood County WV, a son of the late Henry and Clara Ethel Emmons Bauman. He was a member of the North end Baptist Church, a veteran of World War I with the United States Army, and retired from the O. Ames Co. in 1961.

He is survived by a son, Charles "Bud" Bauman Jr., Vienna; three daughters, Irene Eaton of Bradenton FL, Mrs. Leo (Roberta) George, of Brunswick MD, Mrs. Carl (Juanita) Nicholson, of Vienna; a half brother, William Bauman of Wirt county; four half sisters, Edna Cline, Martha Holdbrook, Lillie Hess, and Ann Yarnell, all of Parkersburg,; 10 grandchildren and a great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death byhis first wife, Leah Davis Bauman in 1967, and his second wife, Ethel Frazier in 1987; a step daughter, three half brothers and a half sister.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will be in Evergreen North Cemetery.
