Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Verner Cooksley age 78 of Lindale are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday in the chapel of Caudle-Rutledge funeral home in Lindale. The Bro. Ray Hunter will officiate and private burial will follow in the Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Cooksley died Thursday in a Garland, Texas Hospital. She was born September 28, 1925 in Smith County and was formerly of Dallas before moving to Lindale in 1991. She retired in 1987 from Mobil Oil Company and was a member of the Broad Street Church of Christ in Mineola. Mrs. Cooksley was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Cooksley in June of 1992. She is survived by her Daughter, Karen Cooksley of Garland and several nieces and nephews.
