John A. Schoenborn, 65, a lifelong resident of Marytown, died Tuesday morning at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Roman Andrew in Johnsburg, where he had been visiting. Born September 27, 1878, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Anna Maria Schoenborn.

Survivors are his widow; five sons and daughters; Jacob and Mrs. Armand Mueller of Marytown, Mrs. Steve Gueling of Calvary, Mrs. Ben Blanck of St. Anna and Mrs. Andrew; 14 grandchildren; a brother, Matt Schoenborn of Johnsburg and three sisters, Mrs. John Molitor and Mrs. Joseph Schaefer of Marytown and Mrs. Frank Schaefer of Mount Calvary. A son Edward died in infancy in 1921, and a sister, Mrs. Peter Goeser, expired 24 years ago. Mr. Schoenborn was a member of the Holy Name Society at St. Mary's Church in Marytown.

Funeral services for John Schoenborn of Marytown were held at 9:30 a.m. Friday from the home of his son Jacob, and at 10 a.m., at St. Mary's Church in Marytown, the Rev. George Orth officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Germain Heus, Fred Freund, Michael Faber, John Pitzen, Hubert Casper, and Joseph Petrie. Active pallbearers were Oscar Schoenborn, John Molitor, Ferdinand Schoenborn, Ervin Schaefer, Herbert Schoenborn and Clarence Schaefer, nephews of Mr. Schoenborn. Robert Blanck was crossbearer.
