EAST PEORIA -- Mary E. Taylor, 73, of 139 Fandel Drive died at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 1996, at her home.
Born May 20, 1923, in Streator to John C. and Amanda May Crook Ernst, she married Charles Miller. He died May 17, 1984. She later married Carl Taylor. He died Nov. 5, 1993. One daughter, one sister and four brothers also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Russell H. Miller of East Peoria and Ralph Miller of Creve Coeur; one daughter, Sue Perdue of East Peoria; two brothers, Albert Ernst of Peoria and Ralph Ernst of Dallas; two sisters, Betty Helton of Georgia and Shirley Royles of Bellevue; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Schmidt-Haller Funeral Parlors. The Rev. Bobby Barnhill will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral parlors. Burial will be in Roberts Cemetery in Morton.
