CHERRYVILLE -Martha Mauney Long Berry, 79, of 1200-11 E. Academy St., died Oct. 4, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

She was born Nov. 30, 1929, in Gaston County, daughter of the late John and Mary Mauney.

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home chapel.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Church in Lincolnton.
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
