He was born May 6, 1927 in Meadowdale, Washington, served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and attended college on the GI bill.
Graduated from USC School of Dentistry in 1955 and practiced dentistry in the Burbank area until his retirement in 2000. He was a long time member of Lakeside Country Club in Toluca Lake and an instructor at USC School of Dentistry.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Louise Dahlberg, a son, and 3 grandchildren.
He was buried in Riverside National Cemetery on August 18, 2009.
