"Mrs. Freda B. Rainey, Age 88 Years, Died Thursday afternoon in the Vickburg Convalescent Home. A native of Natchez, MS, she was the daughter of Fredrick and Josephine Blankenstein and the widow of Ernest Rainey. Recieving her early education in Natchez, she later was employed by the U.S. Corps of Engineers until her retirement. Mrs. Rainey was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
"She is survived by sister Mrs. Josie Anderson of Vicksburg and several other relatives.
"Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Monday."
