BALDWYN - Emma Rene Agnew, 68, died Saturday, May 31, 2003, at the Baldwyn Nursing Facility. She was a member of the Bethel C. M. E. Church in Guntown.

Survivors include three brothers, William C. Agnew and his wife, Earsie, Jimmy O. Agnew and his wife, Lucille, and Thomas L. Agnew and his wife, Lottie, all of Baldwyn; two sisters, Rev. Annie Whitmore of Guntown and Brenda M. Agnew of Baldwyn; 19 nieces and nephews; 26 great-nieces and great-nephews; three great-great-nieces; one sister-in-law, Luedella Agnew of Baldwyn; three aunts, Audra Allsop of Long Beach, Calif., Bessie Davis of Baldwyn and Ella Mae Agnew of Milan, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Wilson Agnew and Della Mae Agnew; one sister, Willie L. Agnew; three brothers, Bobby L. Agnew, Carl E. Agnew and Charlie C. Agnew; one nephew, David W. Agnew; and one niece, Sandra McCoy.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bethel C. M. E. Church with the Rev. Jeffrey Freeman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Agnew and Sons Funeral Home of Baldwyn is in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be the Stewards of Bethel C. M. E. Church.
