She was born April 25, 1910, in Tipton Co., Tenn., to Clinton and Emma McIntyre Tate. She had lived in Mississippi County for 48 years.
She was employed with the Brown Shoe Co., until her retirement in 1970. She was a member of the First Baptist Church here.
In May, 1926, she married Aulcie R. Adams. He preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 1967.
Surviving is a son, Bill Adams; daughters, Mrs. Shirley Pittman, Mrs Henry Murphy and Mrs. Leroy Woodard; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Two sons and one grandson preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be held Thursday with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery here.
