Anna was the daughter of Van Buren "Babe" Pulliam and Elizabeth Spaulding. Anna died of tuberculosis pneumonia at the young age of 22.

The State Journal, Frankfort, Kentucky, April 24, 1946:

"Funeral services for Miss Anna Loraine Pulliam, daughter of V. B. Pulliam who lives on the Stoney Creek Pike, will be held Thursday in the Antioch Church of Chirst. Interment will follow in the family lot in the cemetery adjoining the church. Miss Pulliam's body will remain at her father's home until time for the service."
