2) Eliza Jane Hanan 1814-(1901-1909) Buried in Colorado (Prob. Prower Co, CO)
Isaac was my second great-grandfather and was born in Racoon, Gallia County, Ohio on Oct 10, 1810. He left his wife and family in Ohio to come west with his son, John Benjamin Holmes. John homesteaded in Atlanta, Rice County, KS in Apr 1871 and his father died on Oct 18, 1871. The 1880 Census shows his wife, Eliza Jane Holmes living with her daughter, Mary Royce, and husband in Raymond, Rice, KS.
