EDMOND CLARK QUIETT
A retired mining field millman who had lived in Picher since 1918, Edmond Clark Quiett, 77, died at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday at his home, 121 South Frisco street. He was employed by the Eagle=Picher company for several years before his retirement.
A former resident of Carterville, Mo., Mr. Quiett belonged to the Union church at Picher.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Clementine Quiett; a daughter Mrs. Edith Harper, Picher; two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Ross, Paramount, Calif., and Mrs. John Lindgren, Jasper, Mo.; a brother Elsworth Quiett, Oroville, Calif.; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday in the Union church with the Revs. Maurice Hartman, pastor, and Milton Duhon, Joplin, officiating. Burial will be in the Carterville cemetery under direction of the Thomas Funeral home at Picher.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Anderson, T. V. Poynter, Robert and Bill Montgomery, George Walker and Steve Warmack.
