Survived by 4 daughters: Miladay Pechacek, Chillicothe, Texas, Emilie Benys of Kerrville, Mrs. Annie Leveque, and Mrs. Lillian Pechacek, both of San Antonio. Arrangements by Buffington Funeral Home, Yoakum, Texas.

YOAKUM – Mrs. Joseph (Anna) Benys, a resident of Yoakum area since from 1889 until about six years ago when she moved to San Antonio, died about 6 a.m. Monday at the home of a daughter there. She was 76 years of age.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. from Buffington Funeral Home Chapel and at 9:30 a.m. from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. John Matocha officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Milady Pechacek of New York, Miss Emily Benys of Kerrville, Mrs. Annie Leveque (?) and Mrs. Lillian Pechacek of San Antonio; a brother, Maurice Hanys of Cuero; six grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.
