Naomi Moore, 89, of Hartselle passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Nov. 18, 1919, in Morgan County to James W. Jaggers and Dovie Powell Jaggers. She was the last daughter of the Civil War. She was preceded in death by her husband, Asberry Moore; two sons, Edward F. Moore and John W. Moore; and one daughter, Maverine Morris.
Her funeral will be Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Summerford officiating.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be this evening at Peck Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m.
Survivors include one son, Arthur B. Moore Sr. of Decatur; one daughter, Margie Moore Blanton of Decatur; 33 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be David Smith, Jerry Butts Jr., Tim Simmons, Paul Roberts, Arthur Moore Jr. and Matt Kyle.
