Mr. James T. Hatfield
Mr. James Trimble Hatfield, 52, died April 3d. Son of George F. and Flores Layne Hatfield, he was born Feb. 11, 1888, in Pike County, Ky. He came in 1913 with his parents from Kentucky to Ross County where he resided since. He had been engaged in farming and during the past 10 years has been employed at the Chillicothe Paper Company. Besides his widow, the former Byrdie Shaffer, whom he married June 9, 1916, he is survived by two sons, Darrell and Emerson; a daughter, Joyce; his mother; three sisters: Mrs. Dixie Hall, of Vigo; Mrs. Lera Salyer, Flat Gap, KY, and Mrs. Emma Walters, city; and a brother, Luncy Hatfield, city. A member of the Flat Gap Baptist Church, he attended the Vigo Baptist church.
