William Stacey,his brother Chaucey, Henry B.all came down the Erie Canal in 1835,then by wagon train to settle in Hillsdale Mi.At first were Dutch Reformed Church members.
He was the first blacksmith in the city of Osseo and knew how to repair tin which was a high skill . He had a large farm in the Hillsdale county.
William was buried from the First Bapstist Church in Hillsdale Mi.
The tombstone is over six feet high and represents numerous additional family members on it.
This line now goes back to the Mayflower, D.A.R. G.A.R. V.F.W.
