Henry William Christianson died Thursday, April 9th at the home of his daughter Beverly Meyer at Route 4, Viroqua. He was 84 years. Henry was born on August 1, 1902 in the Town of Sterling, Vernon County to Charley and Annie (Knutson) Christianson. He was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church and confirmed at Northwest Prairie Lutheran Church. On April 12, 1922 he married Leora Munson at West Prairie. They farmed one year at Westby and from 1934 until 1970 they farmed in Sterling Township. They retired to Viroqua in 1970. Henry was a member of the Northwest Prairie Lutheran Church and the Viroqua Eagles Aerie No. 2707.

Henry is survived by his wife, Leora; one daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Beverley Jean) Meyer, Jr., Rt. 4, Viroqua; two sons, Harold, Rt. 1, Marvin, Rt. 4, Viroqua; one brother, Eddie Christianson, Westby; two sisters, Anna Olson, Durand, Illinois, Inga Brudos, Viroqua; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Oscar and Ernest; two sisters, Hilda Mortenson, Nora Geesa; three half brothers, Julius, Herman and Peter Christianson; and one half sister, Alma Jacobson.
