He is survived by a son, Bob Rogers of Gosnell, Ark.; A daughter, Dorothy Mann of Caruthersville; A brother, Preston Rogers of Caruthersville; Four sisters, Emma Newton of Caruthersville, Oarleen Parks of Piggott, Ark., Francis Green of Rector, Ark., and Rachel Barner of Lafe, Ark.; Five grandsons, Joey, Jeff and Greg Rogers and Byron and Mike Mann; Two granddaughters, Cindy Wigginton and Arlinda Adkerson; Five great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Esther Louise Vaughn Rogers; a sister, Earleen Spence; and a brother, K.W. Rogers.
Services were July 30 at 2 p.m. at Kinfolks Ridge Baptist Church, John Henry Hicks and Preston Baker officiating, with burial in Little Prairie Cemetery, H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville in charge.
