Died at 10 a.m. Friday at her home in Walker after an extended illness. A native of Mississippi, she had resided in Walker for the past 45 years. She was 67 years old and a member of the Methodist Church.

Survived by seven sons, G. C. Smith of Jackson; F. D. Smith of Sandy Hook, Miss.; A. W. Smith of Gulfport, Miss.; R. W. Smith of Denham Springs; C. A. Smith of Greggton, Tex.; L. S. Smith of Elizabeth City, N.J.; and F. W. Smith of Walker; six daughters, Mrs. C. E. Watson, Miss Pearl Smith, and Mrs. C. J. Eberhard, all of Walker; Mrs. Ione Drinkrow of Palo Alto, Calif.; Mrs. R. J. LeBlanc of New Orleans and MRs. F. P. Williams of Baton Rouge; one brother, T. C. Chapman of Wisner; 32 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Body will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home until 1:30 p.m. Saturday when it will be taken to the home of Mrs. C. E. Watson in Walker where it will remain until Sunday. Religious services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Walker Methodist Church by the Rev. G. A. Horne, assisted by Rev. Lambert. Burial will follow in the Palmetto cemetery. Hollabaugh-Seale Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
