Nuell L. Toon, 71, died Thursday, April 30, 1987, in Muskogee, Oklahoma; and was born on December 5, 1915, in Checotah, Oklahoma.
Nuell was a rancher and life-long resident of the Checotah area. He was a member of Checotah Church of Christ, a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Helen, of the home; two sons, Roneal Toon of Springdale, AR, and formerly of Wagoner, and Donnie Toon of Lewisville, TX; three sisters: Quinton Booker of Checotah; Beatrice Harden of SC; and Abigail Powers of Fremont, CA; and five grandchildren.
