On the morning of Monday, September 14, 2009, Nona Naomi Byington Hubbard, 82, passed peacefully from this earth at McKay-Dee Hospital after suffering complications from congestive heart failure. She had endured many years of ill health.

Nona and Dale lived a short time in Lago, Idaho; Logan, Utah; and Willets, California, finally making their home in Ogden for 58 years. One of their interests was growing and selling fruits, especially raspberries.

Nona loved children and provided loving child care throughout the years. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, reading, traveling, and watching the Utah Jazz, especially John Stockton. She was PTA President and sold Forever Living Aloe Vera products.

Nona was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served in the nursery, Primary, Name Extraction program, and 34 years in the library.
