Andrew Mays (b. abt 1823 d. bef. 14 Jul 1887) was the son of Solomon and Margaret "Peggy" (Evans) Mays.
Andrew married Phoebe Ann Catherine Lewallen.
His brothers and sisters were Elizabeth "Betsy" Girdner, Sarah "Sally" Engle, Marma Duke Mays, Mary Davis, Obedience Wilson, William Mays, Rebecca, Susan, Nancy Adams, Margaret, Martha Davis, and Julia.
During the Civil War, Andrew Mays was enlisted in Company H of the 49th Kentucky Infantry. His widow, Phebe Mays, filed for a widow's pension on 14 July 1887.
