She was united in marriage to Levi Strickland and they resided in the Riverside a number of years before moving to Medicine Lodge, where they spent the remainder of their lives.
She was a member of the Forest City Church of God.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Ward and Mrs. Opal Kness, both of Medicine Lodge; three grandchildren, Mrs. Jean Burris of Beaver, Oklahoma, Hugh Hill of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Mrs. Joyce Roberson of Hutchinson, Kansas; four great grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Lillie Kimball of Pratt; a brother, Watson Doles of Bristol, Colorado, and other relatives and friends. -- The Barber County Index, May 1, 1958.
