LELA B. "BIRDIE" BLACK

Funeral services for Lela B. "Birdie" Black, 95, of Davis, were September 11 at Fox Funeral Chapel with Reverend Finis Steelman and Brother Gordon Oglesby officiating. Interment was at Green Hill Cemetery with Fox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Black was born August 10, 1894 in Texas and died September 9 at Pauls Valley General Hospital. She had lived in Davis most of her life and was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include two brothers, N. W. "Fritz: and George Black, both of Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were nephews Tommy Black, Burl Christie, Lawrence Faulkner, Billy Black, Buddy Burnett, Ronnie Sales, Mike Burnett, Don Christie and Mark Black.
