Charles Litta, 93, formerly of Orefield, died Thursday in Cedarbrook, Fountain Hill Annex. He was the husband of the late Mary (Bartos) Litta.

He was a handyman residing with Steve and Ruth Mazepa, proprietors of Leather Corner Post Hotel, Orefield, for many years. Before that he worked for Trexler Orchards, Orefield.

Born in Egypt, he was a son of the late Wasyl and Mary (Wasko) Litta.

Survivors: Sons, George Litta and Andrew Schlacter, both of Catasauqua; Ruth Mazepa of Orefield, with whom he previously resided; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
