Beroniz passed away at the family home in Santo Niño. Her parents were José Ezequiel Córdova and María Apolonia Lucero. Siblings were Fidelina, Elena, Emilia, Mariano, Enrique "Henry", and María E.Q. Córdova. She was predeceased by her husband Vicente A. Borrego (D: 1971).
Beroniz was survived by daughters: Vicentita "Tita" B. Archuleta, Eliza Trujillo, Marie Pacheco, and Theresa Radosevich; and sons Henry, Ross, Placido, Ernesto, and Rumaldo Borrego; 30 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A Rosary was on 19 Oct 1990 at the Holy Cross Church. Funeral services were held on 20 Oct 1990 in the same church. Burial was in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Santa Cruz. Pallbearers were grandsons: Leroy Archuleta, Roland Borrego, Jim Borrego, Larry Borrego, Ruben Borrego, Matthew Trujillo, Tim Pacheco, and Charles Radosovich. Remaining grandchildren were honorary pallbearers.
