Funeral services for Hazel Guynes Cagle, of Denham Springs, La., are 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, at Strong Hope Baptist Church in Wesson, with burial in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Saturday from 9 until 1 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Cagle, 96, died Oct. 5, 2011, at Harvest Manor Nursing Home in Denham Springs. She was born in Hazlehurst on March 5, 1915, to Andrew Guynes and Anna Ratcliff Guynes.
She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Hazlehurst.
Preceding her in death were her husband, John Ellis Cagle; parents; son, Wayne Cagle; two brothers; five sisters; and three grandchildren.
Survivors are her sons, Guynes "Gene" Cagle and wife, Norma, and Larry Cagle and wife, Beverly; brother, Charles F. Guynes and wife, Edna Earl; three grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
