Opal BUCKHORN WARREN, daughter of George and Nancy COCHRAN BUCKHORN was born September 20, 1919 in Cherokee County and departed this life March 24, 1999 at the age of 78 years, 6 months and 3 days.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Sherman WARREN; five brothers, John, Sunday and Garner BUCKHORN, Jesse and Grover HENSON; two sisters, Laura WELLS and Maggie JACKSON.
She is survived by five nephews, Leon, James, Watie and Jimmie, all of Okla., and John of Minn.; and by six nieces, Georgia, Hazel, Leona, Georgie, Shirley and Carlene, all of Okla.
Graveside funeral services were held March 27, 1999 in the Long Spring Cemetery in Tahlequah with Bro. Vernon SCOTT officiating under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Stilwell.
