Services for Maggie Ola Couch, 87, were at 2 p.m. Feb. 27 at K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel, with Rev. J.H. Monroe officiating. Burial was in Thomas Cemetery in Piedmont, with K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center in charge.
Mrs. Couch died Feb. 25 at Jacksonville Medical Center.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Jo Couch and Charlie and Connie Couch, all of Jacksonville; four sisters, Beulah Pruitt and Jeanette Chandler, both of Jacksonville, Clara Jennings of Birmingham and Charlene Young of Rome, Ga.; five brothers, Charles Phillips and Alex Phillips, both of Jacksonville, James Phillips of Piedmont, Zack Phillips of Buford, Ga., and Paul Phillips of Birmingham; two grandchildren, Rebecca Byers and Stephen Couch; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Jerry Couch, Greg Morgan, Louie Phillips, Danny Couch, Jeff Pruitt and Danny Parris.
Mrs. Couch, an Etowah County native, lived in Calhoun County most of her life. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Couch, four brothers and three sisters.
