Elizabeth "Betty" (Hake) Myers Huff, of New Oxford, entered God's eternal care September 14, 2009.

Born January 6, 1923 in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Earl Hake Sr. and Regina (Vance) Murdorff.

Betty was Protestant by faith and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Gettysburg. She was employed for over 37 years with Musselman's in Biglerville.

Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed playing bingo, going to yard sales, baking and crocheting.

She was the loving wife of Paul L. Huff Sr. of New Oxford, her husband of 38 years and, in addition to him, she is survived by her daughter, Shirley Shaffner of Etters; step-mother, Helen Hake of York; seven step-children, Gloria Warrenfeltz of Gettysburg, Paul L. Huff Jr. of Fairfield, Gary Huff of Fairfield, Gene Huff of Columbia, MD, Philip Huff of Biglerville, Pam Shealer of Gettysburg and Gail Huff of Orrtanna; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; 19 step-grandchildren; 19 step-great-grandchildren and seven step-brothers and step-sisters.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Larry and Bill Myer, and a grandson, Wayne Huff Jr.
