Obituary

Mrs. Lavina King passed away at home in Sparta Tuesday, June 2, following a serious illness of one week. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, P. L. King; two daughters, Mrs. Ida M. Fonger of Grand Rapids, Mrs. A. W. LaVine (Nellie) of Sparta; one granddaughter, Mrs. Charles Hall; two great-grandchildren, Robert and Deloris Ann Hall of Grand Rapids; one sister, Mrs. Sam Finkbeiner of Caledonia; several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and a host of dear friends to mourn her loss. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Sparta M. E. Church. Interment in Greenwood cemetery, Sparta. Arrangements by Bettis Memorial Chapel, Sparta.
