Mr. Taylor was born Nils Jonsson in Horja, Billinge Sweden in 1862. He came to the U.S. in the early 1880's and settled in Odebolt, Iowa. He met his future wife on a local ranch and they married in 1890. The raised a large family and farmed for many years.
