Miles F. Bowser, age 77, of Kittanning, PA, died on Saturday December 27, 2008 at Kittanning Care Center. He was born on April 7, 1931 in Kittanning, PA, to Fred R. and Pearl Hunter Bowser. Mr. Bowser was a member of the Montgomeryville Baptist Church in Adrian. He retired from Allegheny Ludlum in Brackenridge with 40 years of service. He enjoyed reading, history and specially Civil War history and loved traveling in the United States and Canada. He is survived by his wife Lynn Fennell Bowser and they were married on July 1, 1965. One son, Michael F. Bowser of Kittanning and one sister Doris Emminger of Kittanning also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received from 7-9 PM Sunday December 28, 2008 and 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Monday at the Bauer Funeral Home, 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 with Rev. Gerald Fennell, his brother-in-law, officiating. Interment will be held in the Lawn Haven Mausoleum, E. Franklin Twp., Armstrong Co., PA.
