Bertha Mabel Jackson 1896-1966

Mrs. Bertha Mabel Jackson, 70, widow of Philip H. Jackson, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 1966, at her home near Seaford after an apparent heart attack.

She is survived by her four sons: Herman R. Sr., Seaford; Clifford R. and Norman H., both of Wilmington and Harland I, Lewes; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Wright and Mrs. Louise Wright, both of Wilmington; a brother Howard Carey, Cheswold; four sisters, Mrs. Lulu Clark, Milton; Mrs. Susie Clark, Seaford; Mrs. Henrietta Johnson and Mrs. Grace Sammons, both of Cheswold; a grandson, Herman R.Jackson, Jr. whom she raised at home; 30 other grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday afternoon at 2 at the Watson Funeral Home, Seaford, where friends may call tomorrow night.
