A former Sebring resident, Mrs. Mina Brooks, 88, of 110 Bel Air Dr., Burbank Calif. died at 10 p.m. Saturday after an illness of several months at the home of her daughter, Martha Mitchell of 642 Harvard Rd., Burbank.
Mrs. Brooks, was born in Milford, Oct. 16, 1881 (Oct 22, 1887). She moved from Sebring to California in 1947.
Her husband, James G., preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, James E. of Beloit R.D. 2 and Clement G. of Burbank; three daughters, Mrs. Mitchell, Gertrude Bergman, and Mary E. of Burbank, 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mildred, also prededed her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Burbank. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in California.
