SEBRING, Feb 27 - Mrs Mildred Brooks Smith, a former resident here, passed away at her home in Burbank, Calif., Feb 3 after an extended illness.
Born in Millport, May 17, 1905, she lived in Sebring until 1935 when she moved to California with her family.
Surviving are her husband, Elroy; a daughter VaLois Jean Gilbert of Costa Mesa, Calif.; her mother, Mrs. Mina Brooks of Burbank; two brothers, Earl Brooks of North Benton and Clem Brooks of Burbank; three sisters, Mary Brooks, Martha Mitchell and Gertrude Ber(g?)man, all of Burbank, and two grandsons.
