Funeral service for Vaughn Morris, 61, Dillsboro, were held Monday at Washington Baptist Church, Elrod, with burial in Oakdale Cemetery, Dillsboro. Ulrich-Filter Funeral Home was in charge of services.
Mr. Morris, a carpenter, died Friday at Kettering Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mary Eleanor Combs Morris;[should be daughter per his wife's 2007 obit] Joette Sommers, Kettering, Ohio; three brothers, Floyd, Hamilton, Ohio; and Hampton, Miamisburg, Ohio; three sisters, Mary Goblay, Miamisburg, Ohio; Mrs. Lonnie Baker, Mt. Sterling, Ky., and Lucy Berns, Celina, Ohio.
