She was born Oct. 8, 1927, in Brainerd to Martin L. and Ruby M. (Sisk) Doust. She married Robert "Bud" E. Storry on Oct. 26, 1948, in Aitkin. She worked as a food service technician at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, the A & W Root Beer stand in Brainerd and the Brainerd Regional Human Services Center until her retirement in 1992. She was active in the Retired Senior Volunteer Program in Brainerd. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Eagles Club of Brainerd and the Brainerd Christian Fellowship.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Robert W. Storry, Motley, and Frank W. Holmes, Minneapolis; three daughters, Mary Hinch, Brainerd, Sue Mrozek, Little Falls, and Rhonda Cahoon, Brainerd; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Sandra Miles, Ila Fanjoy and Irene Boyd, all of Brainerd, and Rose Lell, Rock Springs, Wyo.; and six brothers, Richard Doust, Floyd Doust and George Doust, all of Brainerd, Daniel Doust and Steven Doust, both of Minneapolis, and Edward Doust, Florence, Ariz.
Her parents; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Donna; and two brothers, Howard and Raymond, died earlier.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brainerd Christian Fellowship in Brainerd with Pastor George Cahoon officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in rural Brainerd.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd and an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
