He is survived by his wife, Adelia, and a sister, Mrs. Alma Lanvermeyer, Dillsboro.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.(EDT) Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Dillsboro, with burial in Oakdale Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Ulrich-Filter Funeral Home, Dillsboro.
