He was a retired employee of Joseph E. Seagram & Sons, Inc.
He is survived by a son, Cornelius, R.R.2, Sunman; a daughter, Mrs. Vernon Holiday, R.R.2, Dillsboro; a brother, Walter Knigga, Dillsboro; a sister, Mrs. Herman Lanvermeyer, Dillsboro; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday at Ulrich-Filter Funeral Home, Dillsboro, with burial in Oakdale Cemetery.
