Ben Noyes, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2009.


He was born in Victor on January 22, 1921 to Howard S. and Clarisa May Woosley Noyes. He married Ruth Joan Bentley on November 29, 1941 in Price.


Ben was a WWII Veteran, serving in the army. He liked carpentry, and made Furniture for his family. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, gardening, and watching and feeding the humming birds. He was a dedicated family man, his family was his life and he was a great example to them. He was a member of the U.M.W.A.


He is survived by his wife, Ruth, children; Gaylene (Gib) Gibson of Price, Nancy (Boyd) Geenhalgh of Price, Kim (Paula) Noyes of Wellington; 14 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and brother Lloyd (Hope) Noyes of Price.


He was preceded in death by son; Benny Jay, granddaughter, Frankie Nicole Noyes, brothers; Walt, Fred, Jim, and Sylvester Noyes, sisters; Ada Olsen, Edna Norton, Nelda Noyes, and his parents.


Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the Price Sixth Ward Chapel (300 West 500 South). A viewing will be held on Friday, September 4, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price. There will also be a viewing held on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior the services at the Church.
Interment will be in the Wellington City Cemetery.
