Larry Fine, nine-year-old son of Lester and Frances Hartung Fine, living on State Road 34 near Mace, died Tuesday night at 11:30 o'clock at Riley Memorial Hospital in Indianapolis where he had been a patient since Sunday morning, April 25, suffering from lockjaw.
The youth was born Feb. 12, 1939, in Crawfordsville. He attended the Mace school and was in the third grade.
Survivors are the parents, and four sisters, Mary Ann, Sally Jean, Linda and Susan.
Also surviving are the maternal grandmother, Mrs. George W. Hartung, of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Sarah Faulks (my correction - Goldie Fulks), of Lafayette and the paternal grandfather, D.H. Fine, of English Lake, Indiana.
The body will be at the home of an aunt, Mrs. Bryon Hamm, 114 North West Street, where friends may call.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
