Lester Jackson Fine, 58, 2002 Leaf Drive, a retired driver for Cities Service Oil Transport Co., died at 3:15 p.m. Thursday in Culver Hospital.

He was member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Elks, Eagles and Moose.

Mr. Fine was a member of the First Baptist Church.

He was born in Lebanon on Feb 26, 1914, a son of Daniel H and Golda Rader Fine. He married Frances Hartung in 1935 in Frankfort. She survives.

Other survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Marianne Clough, Mrs. Sally Willis, Mrs. Linda Dickerson and Susan Fine, all of Crawfordsville; four brothers, John of Indianapolis, Fred of Valparaiso, Dale of Know and Lee of Chesterton; four sisters, Mrs. Vera Behymer of Lebanon, Mrs. Belle Scott of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Lucille Lang of Lafayette and Mrs. Josephine Daniels of LaPorte; seven grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Golda Fulks of Lafayette, and his step-mother, Mrs. Fern Fine of Knox.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
