The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Hill, who died Friday last at the home of her son east of Elwin, took place Sunday from the Shady Grove Church. Mrs. Hill was aged 81 years and was a native of Kentucky. She came to Illinois at the age of 13 years.
She leaves two sons and three daughters, Joseph Hill, with whom she lived, Samuel Hill of Missouri, Mrs. Maria Bishop of Litchfield, Mrs. Kate Evans of Carrollton, Mo and Mrs. Mary Harrison of Wilson county Ks.
