Henry L. Yount, 78 years old, a retired farmer, died Friday at 2 o'clock in the home of his daughter, Mrs R. J. Kahre, 12 Highland Place, after three months illness of a heart ailment.
Mr. Yount came to Peru from Clinton County two and a half years ago. He was born in that county June 10, 1856. Surviving besides the daughter, Mrs. Kahle, are four other children, J E Yount, of Peru, E C Yount of Indianapolis, Mrs. Bert Dunk of Mulberry, and Mrs Charles Gable of Alexandria.
The body was taken overland form the Fetter-Allen chapel to the Kleinsmith funeral home in Mulberry, In. near Frankfort. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 10 a.m. in Pleasant Hill church, near Rossville, with Rev. L. Prentice officating, Intermemt was made at Bunnell (West Section) Cemetery near Frankfort.
