Viola J. Washburn, 82, of Pleasureville died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, at Baptist Hospital Northeast in La Grange.
She was born in Bloomington, Ill. She was a homemaker, farmer and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Uley T. Washburn Sr.; a son, Uley T. Washburn Jr. of Shelbyville; daughters Eva Delores Cooper of Frankfort and Janet Marie Washburn of Pleasureville; three granddaughters; two stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral was 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 at Sholar Funeral Home in Pleasureville with the Rev. Brad Bridgman officiating. Burial was in Pleasureville Low Dutch Cemetery.
