Mrs. Lizzie J. McCreary, age 63, native and lifelong resident of Noble County and wife of Asa McCreary, died this morning at the family home on Gertrude St. Death was due to heart trouble and complications. She had been ailing for four years and the last two weeks critically ill. Mrs. McCreary was born February 17, 1871 in Jefferson Township and was united in marriage July 26, 1888 with Asa of Green Township. Eleven children were born to this union, six of whom survive. Mr. and Mrs. McCreary lived on farms in Green and Swan Township until 12 years ago when they moved to the city.
